Dana Underkofler-Mercer, DC (’98), MS, professor and director of strategic partnerships for Logan’s Department of Innovation and New Ventures and director of the Logan Health Center at the Orthwein Center.
Red Light Wellness has partnered with Logan University to conduct research and provide education on the effects of red light therapy on the human body. This partnership is part of a broader initiative to promote holistic wellness, using scientifically-backed approaches to improve patient outcomes. Logan University’s new Health Center at the Stephen A. Orthwein Center at Paraquad in St. Louis serves as the key facility for this collaboration.
Dr. Dana Underkofler-Mercer, a director and professor at Logan University, actively promotes red light therapy as a groundbreaking health solution. She encourages individuals to experience the benefits firsthand by participating in "Red Light Wednesdays," which take place every Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Logan Health Center at the Orthwein Center. These sessions provide valuable opportunities for participants to learn about and benefit from red light therapy, while also contributing to ongoing research in the field.
The Logan Health Center aims to make quality health care accessible for all individuals. Alongside services like chiropractic care, acupuncture, and nutritional counseling, the inclusion of Red Light Wellness technology exemplifies Logan’s commitment to embracing innovative therapies. This partnership is a significant step in expanding access to cutting-edge health solutions in the St. Louis community.
